Pets in Hebrew
- Dog-כֵּלֵב-[kelev]
- Cat-חַתוּל-[chatul]
- Fish-דָג-[dag]
- Turtle-צַב-[tsav]
- Hamster-אוֹגֵר-[oger]
- Rabbit-אַרנָב-[arnav]

כְּלַבְלַב (klavlav), while “kitten” is
חֲתַלְתּוּל (chataltul)—note that that’s the hard “ch” sound, as in “Chanukkah”—Hebrew diminutives and cutesy nicknames just take a couple consonants and double them.
