i honestly find it hilarious how u can immediately tell from a tolkien fan’s blog whether they’re a dwarf stan or an elf stan

DWARF STANS: generic or hobbit-themed canon url, slightly disorganised aesthetic, dwarf/hobbit/hand-drawn icon, probably an art blog (with some decent shitposts thrown in), pretty chill and cool, good mutuals

ELF STANS: obscure canon url, 90% gifsets (that will freeze ur phone if ur on mobile good luck), legolas and arwen icons everywhere, vague fancy quotes instead of an actual bio, also good mutuals but you get the sense they could kill you irl just by looking at you OR literally every silm blog Ever
