What worries me about 2018:

1. The Democrats could win all 33 Senate seats up for election, and they still won’t have the votes for conviction and removal of the president. We will have to find some Republicans. 😐

2. We will still be voting (for the most part) in gerrymandered districts, with majority electronic ballots (hackable), and without VRA-type protections from voter roll purges and voter id laws (*thousands* of votes lost in the Midwest Trump states from these methods). We are still playing with loaded dice.

3. What are the Trump people going to do between now and then? What are the Russians going to do between now and then? What happens when they sense their grip on power slipping? A cornered animal is most dangerous.

4. We cannot, CANNOT get complacent about the blue wave. We HAVE to show up in 2018 (and 2020), all of us, to overcome point 2. We cannot allow a mineshaft enthusiasm gap.
