And this, right here, is how I know y’all don’t really believe the things you say when you argue so hard about how Tyrion isn’t owed sex from Sansa but then turn around and complain about Tyrion not wanting to be kissed by Penny. If you truly respect women’s consent and bodily autonomy you should ALSO be respecting Tyrion’s, despite the fact that y’all think ignoring his consent is okay because he’s disabled, or because he has internalized ableism. (Hint: It’s still not okay.)
mmmthorin asking bilbo to help him with his braids, all blushing and shy, because he very wrongly assumes that bilbo will know what it means (as a romantic gesture of some kind) and bilbo accepts unknowingly, surprised to see thorin oakenshield acting so strangely coy…..
and so later, he’s threading his deft little fingers through thorin’s hair, braiding it, and he notices that with every light pull thorin seems to have a little reaction, a low rumble coupled with a blush high on his cheeks.
so bilbo starts getting a little more experimental, purposefully rubbing his hands up and down thorin’s scalp and tugging gently at his hair until he has thorin all worked up in front of him- and by that point he’s figured it out, realized this isn’t a thing that just friends do. So he abandons all efforts with the braiding and just starts letting his fingers roam further…just to thorin’s neck, at first, and then slipping down beneath the collar of his shirt to skim against his strong back…and when bilbo figures he really has thorin at his mercy, he climbs into his lap and leans right in and kisses him, delighting in watching thorin’s heavily lidded eyes snap open in surprise as his arms close tight around bilbo !
Jedidiah: I don’t know! I just want to be with him all the time. I want to hear about his day and tell him about mine. I want to hold his hand and smell his hair. But I don’t want to be his stupid boyfriend.
Sometimes fanfiction is a love letter to the original canon, sometimes it’s just that one telegram that says “Fuck you. Strongly worded letter to follow”.
