You really couldn’t make it up – Pence invited a rabbi on stage with him to pray for the victims of Pittsburgh and he picked one from Jews for fucking Jesus.

If you’re making common cause with the Messianics then you really don’t get to pretend you’re outraged by people who want to eradicate Jews. Because you want the exact same thing, you’d just prefer to achieve it without bloodshed.

‘I don’t want a black cat because they don’t photograph well or look good in selfies’

Well beyond the shameful idea that you see a sentient creature only as a decorative item to photograph for the sake of internet points, it also just sounds like you’re making excuses for being a shit photographer.

Black cats don’t PHOTOGRAPH WELL?!

There’s nothing cuter than the VOID WITH EYES

What is WRONG with people??????

reblog if you would love a void with eyes as a pet

So I was taught a lesson in how to get rid of a migraine in 30 seconds and omfg listen my migraines don’t go away ever but I was shown what part of my body to touch and like???????????????

It’s witchcraft????????? Like I would be burned at the stake if I lived in ye olde days knowing that information?????

What the fuck??????

Spill it! Lol….Hooooowwwww?? Had migraines since age 9….😓😓😓

Its called the T4 push, but I literally can’t find the info online????? I guess I’m not searching good enough? These medical fuckers are holdin out on us lol.

It’s best to have someone do this for you while you stand up and relax your muscles as best you can, but if you’re alone, a tennis ball and a flat surface will probably work. Alternatively you can lie on the edge of a bed at the pressure point. (But no really do try to find someone to do it for you)

Find the area in your spine between either the first, second, third, or fourth vertebrae. It should be sore and uncomfortable to press down on, so look for the one that’s most painful, and press down with as much pressure as you can on that area for 30 seconds.

Realize that 80% of your pain has magically disappeared and keep the info secret if you live in a small puritan town, lest you be tried for witchcraft.

If you don’t have to worry about being burned or hanged, then share the info with your migraine suffering friends.

As someone who wrote a 10k word paper on pressure points for a high belt ranking test in her martial arts class, I can tell you that you just found a pressure point used in acupressure and acupuncture to relieve pain, particularly that in the head. 🙂

Hand to god we discovered this by accident when my husband was rubbing my neck and I nearly collapsed it felt so good

This post was sent by literal angels??? I’ve had a persistent low-level headache for nearly 24hrs and now it’s gone??? In 30 seconds? What gods did you sacrifice to for this information!?!?

As a medical massage therapist, I thought I would give my two cents.

This is good for tension migranes and normal migraines, but actually pretty useless for sinus migraines. It’ll help for a hot second, but quickly come back. (These are usually the migraines behind your eyes, in your ears, and behind your forehead. Sometimes it can feel like jaw pain or TMJ) for sinus migraines, behind the ear in a divot. Press down firmly and pull towards your collarbone. That’ll drain your sinuses. Also, pressing around the eye socket on the cheekbones help. There is also a little triangle up away from the eye in the eyebrow bone. Press and hold pretty hard and that’ll relieve that behind the forehead pain. Also, ear pulling is great to help move sinuses around.

Don’t forget the temples too! Press firmly and hold. Open and close your jaw while holding your temples. It’ll feel weird, but it’ll help with jaw pain. It’ll work a similar way if you hold the jaw joint under your cheekbone.

And never underestimate the power of a foot massage!! Give minutes can be all the difference!! Our feet are our base. If they hurt even a little, somewhere else in your body will hurt. Treat your feet and sinuses kindly!

As a lifelong sufferer from frequent migraines I will reblog this everytime I see it, for myself and my fellow sufferers!!

All right, after hearing the story behind why telltale games closed down and what really goes on behind it, I’m gonna clamp down and give you all a long-standing irritation and burden that doesn’t just plague the video game industry–hell, any field of art in general. Strap in and fucking listen, because this is important.

There’s a reason I sometimes get really, really put off by people who will say something is utter trash and looked like the people working behind it weren’t even trying anymore to make it look good. I just wanna sit these people down and scream at them the facts that go behind into making a video game, a cartoon, a movie–any of the things you enjoy now.

Because surprise surprise, a lot of the people working on those projects are manipulated and strongarmed into working shit hours and come out of it compensated by fuck all. This isn’t a new story; it’s in every big studio you can think of, video game or not. Trust me, there’s so much more than the stuff I linked to, and these sort of stories will continue to thrive for as long as big companies and their executives think it’s okay to push out a product as soon as they can at the expense of their employees.

And to be honest? A lot of this stems from the way we get our content now. We get it almost instantaneously. The rise of streaming services and other online platforms allow people to get a movie or a video game or an entire series with a few clicks. That’s all well and good, but don’t pretend that it also leads people in power to believe that because things can be done in an instant means that they can pressure those who make said content into working unreasonable hours and insane overtimes just to push it out as soon as they could. That’s the curse of the “at-your-fingertips” convenience–you enjoy it at the expense of those who make it.

And what I find funny is that people who like to say “X is shit; why does this look like it was produced on a budget?” or–even worse, people who like to take apart something frame by frame to point out the most minuscule of animation or technical errors, but they will never, EVER know the burden that comes with having to get a project out done and why sometimes said errors show up in the final product. Guess what, if you somehow have done that at some point, YOU ARE PART OF THE PROBLEM. Miss me with your “but there’s no excuse to be making mistakes like that” when you really don’t have the people who are literally mentally and physically exhausted just to make that stuff that you like to shit on.

On a personal note, I’ve been in those sort of projects. Animation’s not easy, and at some point those who work on it no longer give a shit that people are pointing out those technical errors because hey, we’ve got a deadline that’s being forced on us so we can’t  exactly squeeze in more time for quality check. And if we need to squeeze in more time, well, who needs sleep? Some people stay up 24 hours straight just to make everything’s perfect. Not just that, but 48 hours or more.

Do you understand why there’s such a thing as death by overwork now?

All I’m saying is that this is the reality behind the stuff that you enjoy. And I’d beg you to not overlook this. Don’t you dare ignore this, because you, the consumer, get to enjoy the video games or the movies or the series that you like, and the wellbeing of those who make them should also be an issue to you. There are real fucking people behind the studios who makes these things. Don’t ignore them.

I’m gonna keep reblogging this because it’s a timely reminder to anyone who enjoys the content they enjoy. And if you know that companies pressure their employees and all those creative minds to work under unreasonable pressure and inhumane hours just to push out content that you’re so desperate for–if that doesn’t bother you in the slightest, then maybe rethink a bit. show love for those behind the scenes because it’s a thankless job for many of them.

it kind of says a lot when people are so quick to reblog anything that pertains to their fandom, turn around and start discourse over the littlest of fucking things, nitpick until their faces turn blue, but when it’s time to talk about the wellbeing of those who make their favorite things, it’s crickets for fucking days.

it’s not just some little thing that people chose to do, being overworked for hours on no end. it will NEVER be a little thing and if that’s not alarming to you or a pressing matter, or if you’re still going to contribute to the sales of a company that overworks and abuses their staff behind the scenes just because you want your fucking content now, then let me just repeat it–

YOU ARE PART OF THE FUCKING PROBLEM.

all those pretty gifsets and fanart and posts will always find their origins in the people who make the stuff you enjoy, because without them, you’ll have nothing to enjoy or talk about or make stuff for. and if it doesn’t concern you that an artist’s physical and mental health can fail because of unreasonable working conditions because what you’re watching or playing is not good enough, then you don’t deserve what you have. you don’t deserve to have a series or a movie shown to you, or a game that you can play, you deserve NONE of them.

and i’ll keep getting on your case about this because it’s no small thing. i just hope you guys can at least muster up some moral outrage for this the way you do about your ships and fan theories.

tl;dr People are dying, with 20-hour work days and 6-7 day work weeks, for your content and you complain about the quality of the work?

Fuck you.
