So I have this clinic patient. He’s you’re typical 20ish year old who we’ll call Johnny. He drives a pickup truck and he lives in the middle of nowhere.
He came into our clinic for a follow up after an ER visit. Why you ask was Johnny in the ER???
Well…
Johnny was driving his truck home from work and hit a raccoon.
Instead of investigating the damage it caused to his truck and going along his way Johnny decided he wanted to make a hat out of Mr. Raccoon. So he put it in the back of his truck and drove home.
(Any guesses where this is going?)
At home Johnny went to the back of his truck to grab the raccoon and guess what. Mr. Raccoon was still alive and NOT very willing to be made into a hat.
Now Johnny is getting his rabies vaccines.
Stories that end in rabies vaccination are always the best stories.
You (or your parents) pay approx $40-$100 or higher for internet.
So that you can all use youtube, google, Twitter, Tumblr, Facebook, etc. etc. etc. This isn’t limited to social media.
Net neutrality says, “Okay, since you already paid x amount of money for the month, you don’t have to pay for each asset individually. Enjoy your internet.”
NO net neutrality means that your service provider (comcast, at&t, verizon, whatever it may be) gets to say “ACTUALLY, it lines our pockets so give us an extra $5.99 for Youtube, Facebook and Twitter. Oh, but that doesn’t include Tumblr; that comes with our premium package. That’ll be $5.99 on its own as well. Now about your Google docs and email…
That’s why it’s important. That’s why I’m spamming Net Neutrality crap. If you’re using the internet, it’s YOUR problem.
-Email your congressman (text resist to 50409) It’s easy, you don’t have to talk to anyone.
Everyone who loves this post as much as I do will be very happy to know these two amazing girls are still doing good and just celebrated their two year anniversary back in September. :3

A Second Much Needed Reblog Update:
This is a message from Alana to all those who love her story.
I am in tears holy SHIT this is so sweet and good and cute and it is so nice to see this on my feed cuz everything has been kinda shitty but this… This is sweet.
I relate on a spiritual level with the absolute fury in that cat’s face in the last gif
No no no, that is not an angry cat, that is a patient cat!!! Look at that relaxed body language! That cat is letting that puppy chew on its ear–I guarantee you it does NOT have to put up with that. Puppo’s excited paws are flailing all over kitty’s face yet all we get is a patient slow blink??? No thrashing tail, either, please note.
This is not an angry kitty. This is a VERY GOOD KITTY who is being super duper patient with a very young pupper and has probably been around puppies all its life. A Very Good Cat indeed!!!
This is a zen cat.
Yeah, that cat is soft as a noodle, his face is relaxed, eyes are half-closed, ears turned to the sides but not laid back, tail is still. That’s a very tolerant and sweet cat! ❤
