how are u going to tell me mermaids dont exist then
dont quote me on this but im pretty sure weve only found baby giant squids so we dont actually know how big they can be
we also know like nothing about lobsters since most of them on the ocean floor and some marine scientists predict that, theoretically, there could be submarine sized lobsters
I’m happy to announce another summerly round of a Bagginshield-themed event 🙂 Let’s go on an adventure!
Adventure?
It’s a summer
challenge that writers and artists can join to make the Bagginshield tag a bit livelier
through summer. Personally, I think it’s always difficult to create something
with little input (although “bagginshield” and “summer” sounds very lovely
already) – which is why I use so-called “key words”. I will draw such a key
word from a little jar waiting on my desk, and this key word should somehow be
connected to your fic.
This year,
there’s a bunch of key words connected to travelling and adventures waiting for
you … Cross your heart: We’ve all done stuff like that as tourists 😉
Oh, and if
you’re living in a region where it isn’t summer now … maybe this might distract
you a bit from the cold? 😉
How to join
Very simple:
Just message me! You can receive a key word until Sunday, 5th
August. Even if you’re joining the adventure late, this should give you enough
time to finish your art/fic still in summer.
What to write
Your entry
should be related to the key word you receive. This connection can be a rather
lose one, or your fic can be centred around it – it’s up to you! And if you’re
not feeling comfortable with your key word, don’t worry! Just tell me, and I’ll
draw another one for you.
You can write
as much as you’d like to that prompt 😉
How to post
Since it’s a
summer adventure, you should post your ficlets in summer, at the end of August
the latest.
I’ll also
post a fic rec, and I’ll also create a collection on AO3. So please send me a
message when you publish something, and also use the tag #bagginshield summer adventure.
I don’t want to miss any entry 🙂
Have a happy
summer already! I’m looking forward to lots of wonderful entries 🙂
Most of our perception of what Goblin sharks looks like comes from dead specimines where they are all mangled and shrivelled, and are always positioned with their jaws protruding out.
When while alive they only ever extend their jaw for feeding, and arnt half as creepy looking
they do look like goblins
this also disregards the fact that they can still propel their jaws forward like an aquatic xenomorph from hell
So can many other fish, I’m just not judging them for their beautiful smile.
okay this is for… my 1000th watcher… and I can’t remember her name because I had to reset my xkit and i lost my outbox! she asked for thranduil on his elk or bilbo and thorin fluffiness, and i swaer i was set on drawing something beautiful and majestic and romantic but my brain short circuited and gave me this instead.
Black cotton brocaded with bands of pale gold wheat and double-headed eagles having cap sleeve, slit jewel neck and pleated skirt with self belt having small gilt buckle.
If I didn’t remember actually reading this in an actual Calvin and Hobbes book as a child I’d think it was ironically photoshopped like those comics where Mickey Mouse and Goofy talk about how reality is an illusion but this comic strip was actually just……. already………… like that……………
