You know what?

Let’s say Daeron I’s war with Dorne was completely unjustified (true, by the way – he should have left well enough alone). Let’s say he was the most evil person to ever evil (mostly, he was just a warmonger idiot). THAT DOESN’T EXCUSE THE TARGARYENS’ UTTER DISREGARD FOR THE PAIN, GRIEF, BITTERNESS, AND LOSS EXPERIENCED BY THE FAMILIES OF SIXTY THOUSAND DEAD MEN. It doesn’t excuse torture (as a medical semi-professional, I know that venom of any kind is a horrific, vicious way to die, and it’s almost worse if you live).

You don’t think the Blackfyres were justified. Okay, that is honestly 100% fine. I can see it from both sides. But if you’re so insistent that it was pure racism and Daeron’s initial war wasn’t the cause, at least acknowledge that there were people who suffered and died for Daeron I who don’t share blame for being fucking conscripted and, in some cases, tortured.

And it is in no way anti-Dornish to say so.
