for starters, just so you have some background, drake is currently dating an 18 year old girl he met when she was 16, he is 31.
also hereâs a tweet from drake himself talking about fucking young girls
and noww letâs talk about how heâs preying on Millie.
At the Emmys, when asked about her friendship with him, she said he regularly texts her things like âI miss youâ and that theyâre very close, also, that they talk about boys/dating advice. He is a 31 year old man and this is a 14 year old girl. Heâs talking to her about boys and dating and sending her âI miss youâ texts, thereâs a word for this. Itâs called grooming. (Grooming is when someone builds an emotional connection with a child to gain their trust for the purposes of sexual abuse, sexual exploitation or trafficking. Children and young people can be groomed online or face-to-face, by a stranger or by someone they know – for example a family member, friend or professional.)
He met his current girlfriend at sixteen talked and flirted with her, groomed her like this, and is now in a relationship with her. It is so disgusting to see people claiming this is normal, the industry she is in is highly pedophilic and sheâs a child. This is not normal or okay, a 31 year old grown man has no business texting a 14 year old girl like this.
If you watch the whole interview, Millie mentions (while smiling really big) that thereâs more in their text convos that should stay in just text form which scares me ALOT
Heâs for real praying on her and I really hope he gets what he deserves
fun history fact: a common argument against women voting was ads with cats dressed up as suffrage activists next to signs reading âi demand a voteâ etc, basically saying that if women can vote, whoâs next, cats?Â
wasnât kidding
i think cats should vote
All they did was make suffragettes cute
I canât believe this was supposed to be negative I would literally die for these suffragettes.
I donât think enough people really understand yet exactly how horrific this fire was. This was a loss to our world and species.
This is the kind of fire we think of thousands of years later as the deepest of tragedy. On the scale of the Library of Alexandria. Itâs worse than that really. The Library of Alexandria kept copies of books in other locations so historically very little was lost in individual fires over the centuries.
This? We lost so goddamn much in one night.
If you want to help⌠if you have ANY vacation photos, videos, anything documenting the contents of the museum: You may in fact be the sole owner of a slice of humanityâs soul.
âIf a person canât get out of bed, something is making them exhausted. If a student isnât writing papers, thereâs some aspect of the assignment that they canât do without help. If an employee misses deadlines constantly, something is making organization and deadline-meeting difficult. Even if a person is actively choosing to self-sabotage, thereâs a reason for itâââsome fear theyâre working through, some need not being met, a lack of self-esteem being expressed. People do not choose to fail or disappoint. No one wants to feel incapable, apathetic, or ineffective. If you look at a personâs action (or inaction) and see only laziness, you are missing key details. There is always an explanation. There are always barriers. Just because you canât see them, or donât view them as legitimate, doesnât mean theyâre not there. Look harder. Maybe you werenât always able to look at human behavior this way. Thatâs okay. Now you are. Give it a try.â
(And a footnote I didnât see explicitly covered in the article: laziness still doesnât exist when it is you yourself making no progress and not knowing why. You deserve that respect and consideration, too, even from yourself.)
