The Cutting Room Floor is one of the most interesting and fucking hilarious places on the internet.

Look into any shitty game and you’ll probably see a little present left behind by a stressed-out, probably-underpaid dev.

But one of my favourites is definitely the windows port of the spider-man game for the playstation

And the unfortunate things left over in a shitty Game Boy Color game called DynaMike.

That’s right. We have the porn sites he was looking at while making the game, fully intact in the cartridge.

1938 WPA poster advising people to consult their physician if they have a cold. Not really sure what the physician could do, as a cold is a virus that has to pass on its own, but I suppose in times like that, monitoring someone to make sure pneumonia didn’t develop was probably a good idea.

So…I got pneumonia from the common cold over the holidays! I’m not fully better yet, but I am definitely understanding this poster now. My infection was viral, but I was admitted to the hospital because my oxygen was consistently under 90%SpO2, and I was at risk for secondary bacterial infection.

Take care of yourselves, and wash your hands more than you think you  need to!

Geosesarma dennerle, or the purple vampire crab, is a species of small land-living crab which is found on Java, Indonesia. Described by scientists in 2015, it is already popular in the aquarium trade, in which all species of Geosesarma crabs are often called vampire crabs. (x x x x x)
